Two in one
Eska, which disappeared in 1987, is one of those brands that vintage watch enthusiasts would love to see revived. A challenge that the Frenchmen Christophe Chevreton and Sinicha Knezevic, two passionate and enterprising individuals, have taken up. While a diver's watch, the Amphibian 250, sealed the return of the Swiss label, this chronograph proves to be the second stage of the now French-owned venture. And its aesthetics hark back to the golden age of this horological complication, when Longines, Universal, and Angelus were the vying for dominance.
